It was in the suburbs of Kansas City, Missouri, at her 6th birthday party when Mo Strother won the coloring contest judged by her grandma's neighbor, Peggy, marking the heroic beginning of a prolific career in the arts. On the path to great success, Mo became a three-time recipient of the "Sense of Humor Character Trait Award" from her middle school . A decade later, Mo is pursuing two BFA degrees, one in Photography and one in Experimental Media, leaning on her one and only personality trait, humor, as a driving force in her work. Her photographic style is playful, colorful, and flashy, just like the Crayola markers that lead to her first big win.
